Greetings,
I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for visiting our new website. I hope you found it enjoyable and informative.
The Ferndale Historical Museum is a repository of all things historical pertaining to Ferndale since its Village days to the present. We house a wide range of photographs and artifacts at the museum for the general public’s interest and research purposes. Our staff is made up of volunteers many of which have lived in Ferndale all of their lives. These members are a great resource for the historical facts and or research of our great city. All on staff at the Museum are members of the “Ferndale Historical Society” and led by the Board of Directors of the Society. Presently we have two ongoing projects at the Museum. One is photographing each of the over 8,000 structures within our city and the second digitizing and cataloguing all of our original photographs housed at the Museum. The success of the Museum relies on the generosity of our public citizens, membership fees and some small grants. Donations are always welcome and tax deductible.
I would like to invite you to come and visit our Museum. I know our staff would be more than happy to assist you in your inquiries.
Our hours are Monday & Wednesday 10:00 am to 1:00 pm and on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. You can also email us at the Museum through this site and we will be happy to respond. Volunteers are always needed and welcome. Come join us as we together…
“Preserve the Heritage of Ferndale for Future Generations”
