A common post on Facebook shows the Woodward
overpass at 8 mile Northbound and incorrectly
dates it circa 1956. Ignoring the fact that cars
from the early 1960s are shown....

 

The photo was taken in 1965 by the Detroit News
Photographer and can be found in their archive. It can
also be found on their very interesting photo-history
of Woodward HERE

 

It has been said that to obtain high response rates on
social media, just post some obvious misinformation....
