The Harmony House record store was located on
Nine Mile Rd for only a view years. It is fondly remembered
by many as one of the first stores where you could
listen to music before buying.

 

It was advertised in the FHS yearbook from 1957 - 1962
at 245 West Nine Mile Road. South side,
3 doors West of Neisner's. Between "Star Curtains"
at 243 and "Gordon's Shoes" at 247.

After Harmony House closed, Gordon's shoes added that
space to their existing store. The buildings were raised circa
2006 to erect the "Reese" building at 245/247 W. 9 Mile.
